Family escapes Mandarin Station house fire

JFRD: 2 adults made it out of home unharmed during fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two adults escaped their home unharmed after flames and heavy smoke covered their Mandarin Station home Tuesday morning.

Fire crews with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to 11025 Lippizan Court, just north of Losco Road, at 6:46 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, flames and heavy smoke were coming out of the home, according to JFRD.

Two adults were in the home at the time of the fire and were able to make it out unharmed.

Fire crews were able to quickly get the fire under control, according to JFRD.

JFRD and the State Fire Marshal is working to find out what caused the fire and assess the damage done to the home.
