Fans rock-out despite nasty weather

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two weather delays weren't enough to keep fans from rocking out Saturday evening at Metropolitan Park.

The severe weather forced organizers to temporarily suspend the music festival around 1:30 p.m. and move concertgoers from the park until the weather passed. When the skies cleared, the fans came back.

"It shows dedication, these fans will brave the elements," said Michael Wilson from the band Queensryche.

A few of the bands were forced to cancel their show, but most still made it on stage. Rock and roll legend Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots was one of the few forced to cancel.

"We were really bummed," Said Weiland. "This would have been the first show of our tour."

More rain is expected throughout Sunday.

Rockville runs through Sunday night, and features more big name bands like Slipknot, Breaking Benjamin and Papa Roach.
