BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – A father and son were arrested Wednesday night after investigators found several marijuana plants growing.
According to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office, an officer with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was investigating a complaint about people hunting at night in the area of 21145 N.W. 110 Ave.

While investigating that complaint, the officer discovered several marijuana plants growing next to the home and immediately contacted deputies.
Deputies set up surveillance on the plants and home, and a short time later, they saw the property renters driving in the area and stopped the vehicle.
Agents from the Bradford County Drug Unit arrived and were given consent to search the home and surrounding property. A total of 149 marijuana plants varying in size up to about 5 feet were recovered, as well as a large amount of seeds and some processed for smoking, deputies said.
Deputies said James and Lorenzo Davis (pictured above), 52 and 20 respectively, admitted to growing and possessing the drugs and advised it was all for personal use.
Both made their first appearance Thursday on several marijuana charges, then posted bond and were released from jail.
