A trooper noticed a smell of marijuana coming from a car stopped for speeding on Interstate 75. When a K-9 alerted on the car, a search led to 10 pounds of marijuana in the trunk and the arrest of two Miami men, according to the Florida Highway Patrol

The Dodge was stopped at 3 p.m. Tuesday near Mile Marker 418.  The initial trooper became suspicious and called a second trooper and K-9 Figo to the scene, whose alert gave them probable cause to search the car.

Driver Dylan Medina and passenger Alexander Berroa, both 22, were arrested and booked into the Columbia County Jail.
