Fight Underway to Save Jacksonville from Itself

Crossing streets shouldn't be a matter of life and death. 

In the past two years bicycle fatalities in Jacksonville have increased by 80% and pedestrian fatalities have increased by 39%. Still, City Council is trying, again, to destroy the Mobility Plan which specifically addresses these deadly problems.

A Plan they passed three years ago. 

In 2011, the Jacksonville City Council passed the 2030 Mobility Plan.  The plan was excellently researched and written.  It received an award from the American Planning Association (APA) of Florida...(more on the link).
