Fire burns Nassau County home

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters worked to save a home that caught on fire early Friday morning on Springfield Lane in the Spanish Oaks subdivision.

Getting the call about a working structure fire about 3:30 a.m., Nassau County Fire Rescue responded with three engines and a tanker. 

Firefighters say more than 15,000 gallons of water and 60 gallons of foam were used to contain, control and extinguish the fire.

There was no report of injuries.

A estimate of damages and cause of the fire were not reported on Friday.
