ATLANTA, Ga. -

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department is planning to train at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The department is conducting a live burn training Thursday.  According to airport officials the training session will take place from 8 a.m. to noon.

Airport officials say the training will likely cause heavy dark smoke.  They say the public will most likely be able to see the smoke from the interstate.

According to airport officials the airport rescue firefighters' training is part of an annual certification program.
