JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -

Fire ripped through a Jacksonville Beach home Tuesday morning, causing about $450,000 in damage.

The Jacksonville Beach Fire Department said the home on Tallwood Road was fully involved and had flames shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived about 7:40 a.m.

Firefighters said a woman and her two grandchildren got out of the house unharmed. Firefighters said they did not attempt to enter the burning home because they could tell the roof was going to collapse.

Investigators believe the cause was electrical.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
