JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

First Coast Connect, a popular local radio show, has launched a contest to have listeners create a new show theme song.

Host Melissa Ross is asking local artists to submit original music 3-4 minutes in length, instrumental and reflective of the show's mood.

The staff at WJCT, a news partner of Channel 4, will pick the top five favorite submissions, then allow listeners to choose which one they like the most.

To find out more about the contest, including how to submit your creation, visit the First Coast Connect website.
