CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -

Former pro wrestler Stephen Ketcher is expected in court Thursday morning in Clay County on sexual assault charges out of Colorado.

Ketcher's first appearance is scheduled for 8 a.m. at the Clay County courthouse.

Ketcher, 56, turned himself in at the Clay County Sheriff's Office just after Noon Wednesday.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office, in Colorado, obtained a warrant for his arrest in March.

According to the MCSO, Ketcher was spotted in a casino in Orange Park last month and notified local authorities.

He was to be processed into the Clay County Jail and held pending extradition to Colorado on seven counts of sexual assault of a child.

Ketcher is a former professional wrestler, known as Steve "Gatorwolf" Ketcher and was a Western Region Heavyweight World Champion in the 1990s.
