FSU fan steals quarters from washing machines, arcade games

Laundromat thief
LAKE CITY, Fla. -

Deputies in Columbia County are trying to identify a man they believe damaged three commercial washing machines, an arcade game and a pinball machine and stole the quarters from each inside a laundromat last Wednesday.

Deputies said the theft happened at Step In Food Mart at 4039 W. U.S. Highway 90 about noon.

The thief is described as a white man about 45-50 years old. He was last seen wearing a teal Florida State University shirt and a white Florida State hat.

Anyone with information about the thief's identity is asked to call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at 386-758-1095 or Crime Stoppers at 386-754-7099.
