KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. -

Family and friends will say their final goodbyes Thursday to a Clay County teenager who is being called a hero for what he did on a road in Keystone Heights last week.

Shane Savoy, 18, a student at Keystone Heights High School, was killed while walking to the bus stop on Friday along County Road 214.

Savoy and a classmate were hit by a truck.

Elin Cornett, 17, was also hit. She told deputies Savoy pushed her out of the way, saving her life.

Savoy's funeral will be held at 3 p.m. at Lake Hill Baptist Church in Keystone Heights. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until the service begins.
