The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is welcoming two newborn babies.

Officials say a female giraffe was born July 8, followed by a female zebra on July 13.

Hamley the giraffe already stands more than 6-feet tall. Born to mother Naomi and father Duke, Hamley is the zoo's 34th giraffe calf. The zoo is currently home to 11 giraffes.

The yet-to-be-named zebra was born to mother Eclipse and father Mosi. The foal will stay with her mother and another female zebra, and the father will be kept in the holding yards behind the exhibit.
