JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Three suspects involved in an armed carjacking Wednesday are in custody, police say.

The armed carjacking happened at the Soutel Food Store at 4 p.m. Wednesday when police said a victim's car was taken at gunpoint.

Police were able to track the car using a GPS tracker that was already in the vehicle.

Officers and an air unit tracked the car up I-95 to the Jacksonville International Airport.

The airport was notified and police were able to quickly locate three suspects from the car, one of which was identified as the carjacker.

No one was injured during the investigation.

Police said there was never a threat of danger at the airport Wednesday afternoon.

It is unclear whether all three of the suspects will face charges.
