A woman out of Green Cove Springs claimed her $1 million prize Monday in the 100X THE CASH scratch-off game.

Misty Bauer, 40, chose to receive her winnings in one lump-sum payment of $701,510.57.

Bauer bought her winning ticket from the Racetrac at 3106 Highway 17 in Green Cove Springs.

The overall odds of winning on this specific scratch-off game are higher than any other lottery game currently available, at one in 2.86.

Scratch-off games comprised approximately 60 percent of ticket sales in Florida in the 2012-2013 fiscal year and generated more than $575 million for the Education Enhancement Trust Fund.

The Racetrac retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
