A 39-year-old Fernandina Beach man was arrested Tuesday on charges related to stealing credit card information, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Larry Deason was arrested on four counts of felony fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts of misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit card.

Deason, who worked at Great Clips Hair Salon in Yulee, was using his cellphone to photograph customer's credit cards when they made purchases at the business. According to the Sheriff's Office, Deason would then make fraudulent purchases using information obtained on the credit cards.

The total amount charged on six different credit cards was $2,326.70, deputies said.

Deason was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving while license suspended, according to the Sheriff's Office.
