Families placed pictures of the victims on a wall and said prayers in their memory.

Among them was Darlene Farah, whose daughter Shelby was gunned down while working in a Metro PCS store.

Ron Davis was there in remembrance of his son Jordan who was killed by Michael Dunn in a dispute over loud music at a Southside gas station.

Davis said that two-and-a-half years after his son's death Jordan's wallet was finally returned to him Friday.

"It's such an emotional experience to support you," Ron Davis said. "If you're the only one standing out there, stand in the cut for loved ones."

Davis also said that the families of victims need to have faith in the justice system, their neighbors and organizations like compassionate families.
