Jacksonville Beach police investigate suspicious package

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla -

A homeowner opened a mailbox on Osceola Avenue on Monday and found a package he or she believed to be suspicious and called police.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office bomb squad was sent in and Osceola Avenue was blocked off by Jacksonville Beach police.

Jacksonville Beach police later said the situation had ended and no device was found in the package.
