Man sought in sexual battery case questioned by Jacksonville Beach police

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has located a man it was seeking in connection with a reported sexual battery earlier this week.

Jacksonville Beach police searched for Frederick William Nicholas Crouch VI and found him Wednesday. He was interviewed and no charges have been filed at this time.

Police said the investigation is continuing.

The victim, who sustained several injuries from the attack, said she was assaulted around 3 a.m. Tuesday by someone known to her. She identified the suspect as 53-year-old Crouch.
