JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A Jacksonville corrections officer was arrested on a DUI charge early Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Officer Christopher Riley was stopped at 2:45 a.m. due to a headlight that was out, police said.

They said the patrol officer saw indications of intoxication. Riley was charged with DUI and cited for operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition.

The Sheriff's Office said he will be placed in a limited duty status while the court and civil service processes are completed.
