Jags ticket sales to raise money for JT Townsend Foundation

J.T. Townsend appeared in support of his foundation in January 2009.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – This Sunday's Jaguars game will be dedicated to JT Townsend, the Episcopal grad who was paralyzed during a high school football game in 2004 and never gave up.

Townsend died suddenly in June. Now the Jaguars are helping to raise money for JT's foundation through ticket sales.

For every ticket purchased to any of the Jaguars 2013 preseason and regular season home games through the secure Give and Go 100 site, fans automatically donate $10 to JT Townsend Foundation Inc.

Once the organization has sold 25 tickets, the $10 donation will be matched dollar for dollar for their WeGive.org project, instantly doubling fans' impact.

Once the foundation sells 100 tickets, the match becomes a 3-to-1 deal, which means it could make up to $30 per ticket purchased.
