JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is trying to figure out the cause of a house fire Friday morning in northwest Jacksonville.

Around 6 a.m. JFRD was dispatched to a house fire on 9857 Gibson Avenue, just off of Trout River Boulevard. Within the hour JFRD said the fire was under control.

Firefighters said the fire started in the back bedroom.

Officials said a woman named Kim Bryant lived in the home but they have not yet located her.

Bryant's daughter said she saw Kim leaving the home Thursday night with man, she says is a friend, in a Black Buick.

The State Fire Marshal was called to the home to investigate.
