Jacksonville officer involved in crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A officer was responding to a call was involved in a single car crash about 3 a.m. Saturday.

The crash happened on Interstate 295 South, north of Roosevelt Boulevard.  Authorities say the officer was responding to a priority one call, but didn't say how the accident occurred.

The officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital and released.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
