Lunch lady accused of stealing $1M+

Atlanta, Georgia -

Police said that for more than a decade, a school lunch lady in Atlanta is accused of stealing more than one-million dollars from a cafeteria.

Atlanta police announced the arrest of, cafeteria manager Brenda Watts, for stealing 500-dollars a day from a cafeteria cart.

A whistle-blower showed detectives video from inside the cafeteria of Watts taking money before it could be passed through the cash registers.

Watts retired last year.

According to the arrest warrants, she lives in a five-bedroom home.

The school system says it will investigate and work with law enforcement to prosecute to the full extent of the law.
