Madison County teacher accused of sexual battery

MADISON, Fla. -

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested a Madison County High School teacher on Wednesday on one count of sexual battery by person in custodial authority.

Geoffrey Walter Hill, 42, was booked into jail and held on $250,000 bond.

FDLE said agents began investigating Hill after receiving a complaint from an individual alleging to have been sexually abused by Hill. Hill, a band instructor at Madison County High School, was suspended by the Madison County School District superintendent upon his arrest.

Agents believe there may be additional unidentified victims. Anyone with information about this case or Geoffrey Walter Hill is urged to contact the FDLE Live Oak Field Office at 386-330-2840.
