Man, 20, arrested in dice game killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 20-year-old Jacksonville man is charged with murder in the Friday night killing of another man.

Police arrested Katravis Forehand in the death of 26-year-old Joe Nimmons in Northwest Jacksonville.

Homicide investigators were called to Rutledge and Sawyer avenues just after 9 p.m. Friday.

Police said Nimmons (pictured, right) and Forehand got into an argument over a dice game. They said Forehand pulled out a handgun and shot Nimmons multiple times, killing him.

Police said Forehand also shot and wounded Andre Bell. He is also charged with attempted murder as a result.
