JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a 23-year-old murder suspect.

Rayvon Sanders is wanted in connection with the killing of a man who was found shot to death in a car on the Northside Sunday.

Police said they received calls that a vehicle had struck a utility pole about 3:45 p.m. near State and Grunthal streets.

When officers arrived, they found a man between the ages of 25-35 who had been shot in the car. Police have not released the victim's ID.

Witnesses also reported hearing gun shots fired.

Sanders is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 182 pounds.

Anyone with any information about the killing is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
