Man, 27, shot at Palatka mobile home park

PALATKA, Fla. – A 27-year-old man was shot twice Monday night in a Palatka mobile home park, and deputies are trying to figure out who shot him, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to Alhambra Mobile Home Park, located at 3801 St. Johns Ave., about 10:15 p.m.

The victim told police an unknown person or people came to his door and shot him with an unknown type of weapon. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right shoulder and one to his right hip.

He was taken to Putnam Community Medical Center and then flown to UF Health with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

Deputies said that to maintain the integrity of the investigation, further details are not being released at this time, and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
