In April 2011, a fight broke out inside Tiffany's Gentleman's Club on Philips Highway. As the commotion moved outside to the parking lot, Webb pulled out a gun and fired several shots, one of which killed Chatman, prosecutors said.

They said Webb then threw out the weapon while fleeing the scene.

Officers followed Webb, which resulted in a high-speed chase. The pursuit eventually ended after Webb crashed his vehicle and was apprehended.

Webb now faces life in prison as a habitual felony offender. He will be sentenced the week of Dec. 15.
