JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 44-year-old Jacksonville man is charged with murder after his 38-year-old girlfriend died at a hospital Friday.

Jacksonville police said Latosha Joyce was unresponsive when Marcus Gray drove her to UF Health Jacksonville Friday morning. Joyce later died.

Police said Gray admitted to pushing Joyce out of his bobtail rig at his workplace at 3500 Rio Grande Ave. in Northwest Jacksonville. The autopsy showed she'd also been run over.

Gray was initially charged with felony battery. The charge was upgraded to murder after Joyce died.

Gray has prior arrests for domestic violence, but not on Joyce.
