In July 2009, Faulk's grandson found his grandmother brutally beaten and shot to death inside of her Shellcracker Road home. The victim's dog was also found deceased, lying on top of the victim's body.
Breeden and two co-defendants broke into Faulk's home to commit a burglary, an investigation revealed.
Several items were taken from the home, including a large television. In the midst of the burglary, Faulk was shot multiple times in the head and struck with a concrete block.
Breeden's sentencing date will be set on July 28.
