Man accused of hitting, choking woman sought

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -

Deputies in Camden County are asking for the public's help in finding a 28-year-old man who they said struck a woman in the face and choked her into unconsciousness.

Michael Wainwright is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, simple battery, criminal trespass and interference with a 911 call.

Wainwright is described as a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.

His last known address was in Kingsland.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Camden County Sheriff's Office at 912-729-1442 or Crimeline at 912-510-5163.
