Man accused of tattooing, sexually assaulting teen

Raymond Lopez, 45, invited girl, 14, to his home

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Johns County man was arrested Tuesday after deputies said he gave a 14-year-old girl a tattoo and then sexually assaulted her.

Deputies said Raymond Randolph Lopez, 45, sent the girl a friend request on a social media site in early May. After she accepted his request, Lopez offered to give the girl a tattoo, deputies said.

They said the girl went to Lopez's home and received a tattoo before he allegedly became aggressive and sexually assaulted her.

A search warrant was issued and executed at Lopez's home after the 14-year-old positively identified him in a photo lineup.

Lopez was arrested on a felony charge of lewd or lascivious behavior and a misdemeanor charge for tattooing a minor without parental consent. He was booked into St. Johns County Jail and will have his first court appearance Wednesday morning.
