Man arrested, narcotics, cash seized in investigation

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -

A man was arrested and drugs and cash were seized Tuesday after a five-month narcotics investigation.

According to officials, Kendrick Jerry, 38, was arrested on charges of cocaine and possession of drug equipment.

An investigation revealed narcotics were being sold out of a house at 6525 North U.S. Highway 441.

After a search warrant was issued for the house, detectives found and seized more than 5 grams of powder cocaine, 7 grams of crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officials also seized a vehicle that was used in the sale of the narcotics.

Jerry is being held on $26,000 bond.
