JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 28-year-old man was convicted Wednesday in the shooting death of a man that happened on July 24, 2012, at 4649 E. Moncrief Village St.

A jury found Richard Person III guilty of first-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Antonio Mosley.

Mosley and his girlfriend were at their apartment when Person and three others went into the home and told Mosley to come outside.

Officials said Person and Mosley got into a verbal altercation, and as Mosley was walking away, Person shot him multiple times.

Person faces life in prison. He will be sentenced in July.
