Man shot at apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man showed up at a Jacksonville fire station seeking medical help after being shot Sunday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The man told police he was shot at an apartment complex on Pritmore Road, near Sunbeam and Old St. Augustine roads.

Police went to the complex in search of witnesses and a crime scene. Several witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and saw two or three men running away.

The men were seen getting into a gold colored vehicle, according to JSO.

A vehicle matching their vehicle's description was recovered in a parking lot at Pritmore and Old St. Augustine.

The men were not located.
