Man shot, killed over PlayStation 4, Orlando police say

Orlando police continue to investigate a shooting on Church Street that may have involved a newly released PlayStation 4.

ORLANDO, Fla. -

A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Orlando during the sale of a newly released PlayStation 4, according to police.

Emmanuel Johnson, of Orlando, died in the shooting, which occurred Sunday afternoon in the 700 block of West Church Street.

According to police, Johnson and a 23-year-old man, whose name has not been released, agreed to meet at the Orlando Police Department to conduct the transaction.

For an unknown reason, they instead met on Church Street and shots were fired, with both men being struck, Orlando police said.

Johnson was taken to a hospital, where he died. The 23-year-old remains hospitalized. His condition is not known.

Orlando police said it's not currently believed that anyone else was involved in the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
