JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man they said robbed a Westside bank Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to the Jacksonville Bank at 4343 Roosevelt Boulevard about 1:40 p.m.

Police said the robber approached the teller and demanded money by handing her a note. They said he did not threaten the clerk, nor did he display a weapon.

After receiving cash, the robber fled the bank on foot. No vehicle was seen leaving the area, police said.

The robber is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall and between 150 and 160 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing sunglasses, a tan baseball cap and a blue shirt.
