Man sought in pharmacy robbery, attempted robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a man wanted in an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery.

Police said the man tried to rob a Walgreens pharmacy on San Jose Boulevard just north of Interstate 295 at 5:35 p.m. Sunday.

They said that 16 minutes later, the man robbed a Publix Pharmacy on Old St. Augustine Road just north of I-295, demanding pills.

Anyone who has any information in regards to the man's identity or whereabouts is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
