JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 43-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced to life in prison Thursday morning for molesting an 11-year-old girl.
David Ramirez was convicted earlier this month on a charge of lewd or lascivious molestation.

Ramirez molested the child in June.
Authorities learned of the crime after the child told her mother that Ramirez touched her.
Assistant State Attorneys Alan Mizrahi and Catherine Licandro prosecuted the case.
