Man with gun demands prescriptions from Walgreens pharmacy

Clay County deputies are searching for a man who robbed a Walgreen's at gunpoint Thursday at 1821 Blanding Blvd. in Middleburg.

Deputies said the man walked into the store straight to the pharmacy department, where he demanded prescription medication from the staff while showing his gun.

The man got away in a silver van.

Deputies said no one was injured during the robbery.

The robber is described as a white man who deputies believe to be about 50 to 60 years old and between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall.

He was reportedly wearing a Hawaiian shirt, blue shorts, a straw hat and white socks.

Anyone with any information on this robbery is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
