A Westside home is now the center of a homicide investigation-- after a man found his friend's body inside earlier. Authorities suspect foul play.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A man's body was discovered at his home in Marietta on Sunday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

It happened at the home on N. Cahoon Rd around 5 p.m.

Police identified the man as James Waters, 55.

Sgt. Dan Janson with JSO said a friend came over to Waters' home to watch football but discovered him laying on the floor, unresponsive. Fire-rescue was called and the man was pronounced dead.

Janson said foul play is suspected and police are investigating.
