Market Street from Orange to Phelps closed due to flooding.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Overnight rains resulted in street flooding in Springfield that kept at least two streets closed Tuesday morning.

Parts of Market Street from Orange Street to Phelps Road near Downtown Jacksonville were closed early Tuesday morning. Confederate Road from Hubbard to Liberty Street was also closed because of flooding.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced just before 1 p.m. that the streets had reopened.

Channel 4's Melanie Lawson was told by Springfield residents that these areas near Confederate Park flood regularly.
