Hilliard brush fire
HILLIARD, Fla. -

Members from the Nassau County Fire Rescue Department were able to stop a brush fire from spreading to two homes Friday night.

Fire crews were called to Keen Cemetery Road in Hilliard for reports of a brush fire. Multiple crews worked to control and extinguish the fire.

Two homes were also protected from the fire and sustained no damage as crews worked to put the fire out.

The brush fire has now been contained to less than 5 acres of land.
