When officers arrived, they discovered what appeared to be an acid bomb.

"The device at the location where they initially responded, it was thrown. That device was left at that scene," said JSO Lt. Claude Ayoub.

A responding officer located a potential suspect vehicle and pulled the car over. Police said five people were arrested. They were: 23-year-old Eric Mathis, 18-year-olds Randy Harris and Christopher Combs, a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old.

While there were no injuries or property damage from the acid bomb, police said this was the second incident at this location.
