Orlando restaurant worker tied up by masked men during robbery

Cash stolen from Joe's Crab Shack on Apopka Vineland Road

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orange County restaurant worker was tied up by two masked men during a robbery, according to deputies.

The robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. Monday at Joe's Crab Shack on Apopka Vineland Road in Orlando.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a man working at the restaurant was headed to his car when two masked men approached him.  The assailants took the man back into the restaurant and tied him up, deputies said.

The thieves made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies said.

The worker was not seriously injured.

No other details have been released.
