NAHUNTA, Ga. – Authorities said a 34-year-old Palatka man accused of fatally shooting another man in front of his children early Tuesday morning turned himself in to authorities in south Georgia 24 hours later.
Kevin Daniels turned himself in just after 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Brantley County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, according to the Palatka Police Department.

A nationwide arrest warrant for Daniels was issued Tuesday on a charge of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated stalking, armed burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police said Daniels unlawfully entered a home on 2428 Husson Avenue in Palatka shot and killed 34-year-old Raymond Perry, then fired at Alzeta Esau, 30, but missed. Esau and the children, ranging from ages 2 to 10, were in the home at the time and not hurt.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning, and police said Daniels left the scene.
Daniels was held at the Brantley County Jail and investigators from the Palatka Police Department traveled to Georgia to interview Daniels. He was extradited to Putnam County on Friday.
