Palm Coast man, 60, indicted on child porn charges

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 60-year-old Palm Coast man was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on two counts of receiving child pornography over the Internet and one count of possessing child pornography.

If convicted, Timothy McDermott faces five to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a potential life term of supervised release for each of the receipt counts.

For the possession count, McDermott faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a potential life term of supervised release.

McDermott was arrested Monday at his Palm Coast home.
