Person shot on Moncrief Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police are trying to figure out what led to a person being shot in the Ribault area early Wednesday morning.

Around 1 a.m. officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a person shot on West Moncrief Road, just north of Cleveland Road.

Officers found a person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower torso.

It is unknown how many shots were fired and officers have no suspect information as this time.
