There are plans to rebuild the Olive Garden restaurant in Regency that was destroyed by fire in January.

Restaurant representatives said they're currently working through the approval process to do so.

The fire broke out at about 3 a.m. Jan. 27 at the 24-year-old restaurant.

Firefighters estimated the damage to be between $400,000 and $800,000.

Firefighters said the fire appeared to have started in the roof and was accidental.
